A course to explore the issues, and our practice as professionals,
around race and ethnicity .
Training enables participants to either develop, or add
to, skills and awareness and does this in a way that helps
people to feel valued and part of "the solution"
rather than "the problem" We don't believe guilt
and fear are effective teaching tools.
• The History of Race Relations, the process
of change, and our place in that process.
• Language, The importance of inclusive language
in creating a welcoming and safe environment.
• Definitions of Race and Ethnicity.
• Assumptions, attitudes, and values: exploring
our different perspectives.
• Issues arising from Race and Ethnicity and
how this impacts on the various areas of life.
